Canada Revenue Agency

From 2021 to 2025, I worked at the Canada Revenue Agency as a Programs Officer, specializing in UX prototyping with Axure RP. My focus was on designing and maintaining interactive prototypes for key CRA portals, including My Account, My Business Account, and Represent a Client. These prototypes supported call centre agents by simulating the taxpayer experience and were also used for onboarding, service demonstrations, and stakeholder presentations. In addition, I designed wireframes based on detailed business requirements, helping translate complex service needs into clear, user-friendly interfaces.

UX Design

Here are samples of similar work I have done, all completed according to the client’s requests and specifications, with a mobile-first approach.

I designed a set of Figma wireframes to support a full applicant–participant workflow for a grant application portal. Based on defined user stories, the wireframes map out how primary applicants invite or remove participants and how participants accept, decline, or withdraw from applications. The flows include mobile and desktop interactions such as sending and managing invitations, confirming actions through modal dialogs, and updating application states across the portal. Experiences Canada Video Producer

I worked full-time as a video producer and editor for Experiences Canada, where I created several videos for promotional and educational purposes.

These videos included motion graphics effects that I animated using Adobe After Effects, as well as archival footage and interviews that I edited using Adobe Premiere Pro.

The Growcer Tutorial Series

I worked in a freelance capacity for The Growcer, an Ottawa-based company specializing in modular vertical farming, to create a series of tutorial videos on the maintenance and upkeep of their units. Below are 2 examples of the videos I shot and edited.

Motion Graphic Animations

I am experienced in creating motion graphic videos, translating images from Adobe Illustrator to Adobe After Effects. One of my personal favourite projects was creating a video for the National Botanical Children’s Garden of Canada. I had the opportunity to be part of a team of designers that wrote and produced a promotional video for the organizations summer programs, where I was in charge of the motion graphic animations.
